Michelin’s Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire, the Latitude Tour, combines comfort, wear and fuel efficiency and is designed for sport utility vehicles, crossovers and light duty pickups. Meeting Michelin’s Green X standards, the Latitude Tour has long tread life, good wet traction and low rolling resistance, as well as year-round traction – even in light snow. The silica-based tread compound is molded into a symmetric tread design that optimizes Michelin’s MaxTouch Construction enabling the Latitude Tour to provide an even longer treadwear life. The wide circumferential grooves of the Latitude Tour help reduce hydroplaning and the multiple sipes deliver biting edges in snow, while the stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib give better responsiveness and highway stability. Michelin Comfort Control Technology is another feature of the Latitude Tour that reduces vibration and road noise by combining computer-optimized design and precision manufacturing, while the twin steel belts under the tread area enhance the ride quality.
